Why Some Users May Not Be Able to View the Interactive House
The Interactive House was built using a technology called Flash and relies on a Flash player plug-in to display it in a web browser.
You should note that if you are using an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, you cannot access the Interactive House using the built in Safari web browser. This is because Apple chose not to support Flash based content on their mobile operating system ‘iOS’ (used on all iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices). Adobe, the company who owns Flash, have also stopped supporting it on the latest versions of the Android mobile operating system (version 4.1 onwards).
Therefore, it is not possible to view our Interactive House on devices running these operating systems (iOS, Android 4.1+). Please be assured that there is nothing in the Interactive House that isn’t covered in our planning webpages at http://cf.gov.im/categories/planning-and-building-control/.
We continually review the possibility of providing our Interactive House in other formats as nowadays, there are many modern technologies available for displaying such content. However, we are not currently in a position to be able to offer the Interactive House in these alternative formats.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
